About

I’m Selver Basic, a software and data engineer based in Germany. I started out with C++ and SQL, worked in embedded systems, and moved into cloud and data engineering in 2017. Since 2020 I’ve worked independently, mainly with the Azure stack.

I like the unglamorous parts of engineering: making data pipelines understandable, getting infrastructure to behave, and figuring out why something broke. This site is where I share notes from that work as I learn.
